Company outings during the summer is a common ocurrence in the Philippines. There are many reasons why a company outing is organized.

Some company summer outings are for team building purposes. A busy beach is not a good idea for team-building because of the obvious distractions. Usually, a venue or a good part of it is rented exclusively by the company where the team building activities will be held.
